Obiettivi formativi
This course is to present the fundamental concepts and methods for the study of algebraic structures such as Galois theory, the construtions of rings and the representation theory, which has applications in various parts of the mathematics. Accordingly to the aims of training of the Study Course provided by the SUA-CdS form, the course aims to help the students to develop abstraction and reasoning skills, a mental flexibility useful in studying complex problems, to encourage the teamwork and the personal deepening, first stage for achieving autonomy in tackling new problems.

Students must take both written and oral examinations: The written exam consists of exercises assigned during the course, while the oral exam consists of theoretical questions related to the program of the course as well as a discussion on the exercises. The final grade is expressed on a scale of 30.Testi consigliati e bibliografia
